The ThunderHawk Youth Football Program is a non-profit organization that supports, encourages and enables our community’s youth to benefit from participating in tackle football in a safe and structured environment. The individual growth of our community’s youth is enhanced through the spirit of completion, discipline and fair play. It is our mission to teach the basic skills, rules and fundamentals of football; which all players need to be able to play in a safe and nurturing environment, where every player will have the opportunity to play regardless of skill level and make new friends. We strive to ensure that everyone has a positive, rewarding experience while participation in the program and that each player will learn the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, honor and integrity while sharing with their coaches and teammates the emotions of success and failure. Here football is important 365 days a year and not just during the football season, we continue to support our youth with conditioning camps and fundamental skill camps throughout the offseason. Our coaches and board members commit countless hours through training and preparation to ensure that we continue to offer the best and safest program in the metro area.
The ThunderHawk organization is composed of volunteers that are dedicated to this mission. Whether or not you choose to be a volunteer within our organization, we ask for your support of our mission. To better protect our players and volunteers, the board enforces a zero tolerance policy for unsportsmanship and inappropriate behavior by parents, siblings, relatives and friends of players at all times.
